The non-essential alpha-amino acid L-Citrulline has a chemical formula of C₆H₁₃N₃O₃ and a molar mass of 175.19 g/mol (CAS No. 372-75-8). The substance manifests as white crystals or crystalline powder and has a clean, somewhat bitter flavour.
