CPHI Shanghai 2026 opened on June 16 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, bringing together global pharmaceutical companies and equipment manufacturers. The booth of Shaanxi Hongda Phytochemistry Co., Ltd. (E4C82) was bustling with activity; R&D teams specializing in natural pharmaceutical and health supplement ingredients—hailing from Europe, North America, the Asia-Pacific region, and the domestic market—were engaged in in-depth discussions with global supply chain managers.

In the booth's negotiation area, Shaanxi Hongda showcased its flagship product lines, including green tea extracts, mushroom polysaccharides, Sophora japonica extracts, sweeteners, antioxidants, and sports supplements; the large display screen at the booth became a focal point of the exhibition. During discussions, many brand representatives noted that they previously sourced lutein and zeaxanthin raw materials and performed crude blending in downstream dry-powder workshops. This often led to catastrophic "gravitational physical stratification" during high-speed Packaging, resulting in unbalanced ingredient ratios within individual capsules and exposing them to legal risks regarding regulatory spot checks and product recalls. In contrast, Hongda leverages its own extensive marigold cultivation bases and a proprietary liquid-phase co-purification process to achieve co-precipitated crystallization of the two carotenoid molecules at the molecular level. Regardless of how samples are drawn from bulk shipments, the molecular-level ratio remains precisely locked at the "golden ratio" of 5:1—internationally recognized by the AREDS2 clinical study. By resolving these critical concerns for buyers, Hongda secured an immediate on-site order for 5 metric tons.

Shaanxi Hongda’s entire product line has successfully obtained major international Certifications, including US FDA registration, cGMP, ISO22000, HACCP, Halal, and Kosher. To address concerns regarding logistics lead times in cross-border procurement, Hongda’s business managers announced the availability of ample bulk inventory in key trade hubs across the US and Europe. These facilities feature climate-controlled, ultra-dry storage environments and support 24-hour local direct shipment of full pallets. The first day of CPHI Shanghai has concluded successfully, with a tremendous turnout at the Shaanxi Hongda booth.
